shhh!! it's a secret...

Now I am going to let you in on a little secret gift that I am preparing and giving for gifts... Now please, keep my secret... :)

This is the first year that I attempting this, therefore there are no pictures to show you... Sorry, I will share them as I get it together...

Drum roll please....

daaa.........

dumm......

Okay... I have been nagging, I mean asking patiently, for everyone in my family's favorite recipes. I am going to put them together with info on each member and make a family cookbook.

I come from a long line of AWESOME cooks and I know that I want all the great recipes to be put together for myself.

There are a lot of great memories that I have in my grandma's kitchen. I want to remember them always...

Now my question to you... Anybody have any great ideas on how to put it all together?! I would so appreciate it!

Shutterfly is your best bet...you could even upload photos of the cook beside each recipe! I've been collecting photos of the ladies in our family cooking during the holidays for just such a project!

Take a look at www.lulu.com. It's a website that let's you make anything into a book. You can lay it all out yourself in a Word document or use their cookbook template that has spaces for recipes and photos. It's easier to include lots of text than the shutterfly books, which are mainly meant for pictures. I just made a cookbook of my grandma's recipes to give my mom for Christmas and it turned out great!!
