This weekend, I have been crazy lazy!!! We have not eaten a home-cooked meal for days.
This is when I start feeling like a slacker of a mother, wife, and homemaker. So as for tomorrow, Monday, and hopefully every other day this week and for a while, I will be making sure to have dinner as a family home-made and around a table every night!
What about you? What are you doing this week to make your home sing? And what kind of song is your home singing?

Oh I know what you mean. As my kids keep getting older their schedules get crazier and it becomes hard to find the time to eat together.
Somtimes our oldest has to go straight from work to an evening activity, so on those nights my husband takes him a plate of food and he eats on the way to wherever they are going.
And honestly, there are those days when it feels like why cook if only one person is here to eat it?
But, I find that I do a better job of getting a homemade dinner on the table if I plan for it. Otherwise it's to easy to order pizza or grab something out of the freezer. So good for you for making a plan!
Thank you for joining up today.
Know what you mean. We've been so busy here and then there was a big project that took over our kitchen table. It's going bye-bye today so we can sit and eat together again, at least on the days we're home.
As far as this week, we are going apple picking tomorrow with some homeschool friends, so looking forward to making apple butter and baking bread this week (my MIL gifted me her bread maker...so new to me!). The boys are looking forward to helping. I love fall, gearing up for big baking all season.
Oh, I felt like that last week! It's such a sorry state, isn't it? Good job for getting back on track.
I can SO relate! The last week or so around here has been crazy and my menu plan has fallen by the wayside. This week my husband is off all week so that throws me off too. Sitting down to dinner as a family really makes a difference! I'm looking forward to fall weather and the opportunity to make lots of yummy soups and comfort foods to bless my family mealtimes.
